The register of mineral resources is a database belonging to the state information system the purpose of which is to collect and ensure the availability of geological information obtained by geological exploration, reports on the volume of extraction of mineral resources and, with the consent of the Environmental Board, marching survey. The database contains information on deposits (consisting of blocks of mineral resources), mining reserves (areas where mineral resources are extracted) and exploration areas located on Estonian land, in transboundary water bodies, in territorial and inland seas and in the exclusive economic zone. The most important attributes are the size of the objects, the type and quantity of the stock. The use of mineral resources is regulated by the Earth's Crust Act and various regulations. N.B.: The services have data as of 10.12.2024 and are not updated.
