The register lists 52 official climate sources across Europe: 41 government APIs and 11 datasets, 51 of them currently verified by live checks.
Benchmark of indicators to self-assess the eco-responsibility of sporting events
In order to better control resources and energies, it is essential to opt for responsible choices regarding materials and equipment within federations, their clubs, and around their events. The implementation of environmental measures makes it possible to reduce the management budgets of clubs and events: Lower consumption of water, electricity, extension of the life cycle of equipment, etc. The benchmark of indicators to self-assess the eco-responsibility of sporting events is intended as a tool to help prioritise sustainable development for and in sport. The indicators selected were identified on the basis of the following steps: - the guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) - ISO 20121:2012 - ISO 26000 - The national strategy for the ecological transition towards sustainable development 2014-2020 - the 2005 IOC Handbook on Sport and the Environment - OECD Economic Development and Local Job Creation (LEED) - the national strategy for the sustainable development of sport and the eco-conditionality grid for an eco-responsible event This base of 166 indicators is organised around 12 themes covering the fields of the environment, the economy and the social sector: 1. Consumption and production 2. Governance and outreach 3. Economic benefits 4. Waste 5. Water management 6. Transport and sustainable mobility 7. Climate change and energy 8. Conservation and sustainable management of biodiversity and natural resources 9. Education, training and research 10. Health and well-being 11. Social inclusion of sport 12. Accessibility.
Indicator of physical vulnerability to climate change
The Physical Vulnerability to Climate Change Indicator (PVCCI) measures climate shocks and the exposure of countries (national PVCCI) and their territories (subnational PVCCI) to these shocks. Since 2001, Ferdi has been calculating and updating an indicator of physical vulnerability to climate change (PVCCI). This work was the subject of several working papers, brief ones before being published in Ecological Economics (Feindouno, Guillaumont and Simonet, 2020).\ \ The PVCCI measures the geophysical risks faced by countries due to climate change. It is a structural index because it is based on exogenous factors that are independent of countries' current and future policies. It is therefore intended to be used in the definition of the multidimensional vulnerability index.\ \ The index is constructed for 191 countries, and with the aim of highlighting the heterogeneity of territories’ physical vulnerability to climate change, a disaggregated subnational PVCCI has recently been calculated (Goujon, Santoni and Wagner, 2022).

Éco-rénovons Paris is an innovative and unique scheme in France that aims to continue and increase support for the energy and environmental renovation of Parisian condominiums. It addresses challenges related to climate change adaptation, the carbon footprint of energy renovation and the development of renewable energies. The Italian Parametric Earthquake Catalogue (CPTI, Catalogo Parametrico dei Terremoti Italiani) represents the most extensive and reliable source of parameters for earthquakes in Italy and surrounding areas. CPTI15 is the fourth generation of the CPTI series, the first dating back to 1999 (CPTI99), and provides the most advanced and updated sets of macroseismic and instrumental data and parameters for Italian earthquakes with maximum intensity I ≥ 5 or magnitude Mw ≥ 4.0 in the period 1000-2020. The catalogue lists 4894 events, 70% of which have parameters based on the macroseismic datapoints provided by the Italian Macroseismic Database DBMI15. If available, both macroseismic and instrumental parameters are provided, together with a set of “preferred ones”, which consist of a selection between the macroseismic and the instrumental epicentres, and the weighted average of the macroseismic and instrumental magnitudes.
